This, in turn, can stimulate cognitive growth, as we engage with challenges that demand higher-order thinking skills.
Opponents might argue that overreliance on AI could lead to "learned helplessness," where individuals become dependent on technology for even simple tasks. However, this assumes a passive approach to AI. Instead, we can leverage its capabilities to upskill ourselves, learning how to interact with and utilize AI effectively. This fosters a new kind of intelligence, one that merges human intuition and creativity with the analytical power of AI.
But what about the fear of AI rendering us "dumb" by eroding our basic cognitive skills? This hinges on the definition of "dumbness."
